Information we collect
When you request a quote, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, service requested, postcode, and the information you write about your property and cleaning needs. We also receive your message and any later correspondence about the enquiry. Please do not put sensitive personal information in the free-text field unless it is necessary for your request.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to your request, prepare a quote, discuss availability, and, if you proceed, arrange and provide cleaning services. For a quote or booking requested by an individual, this is generally necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to perform that contract. We do not treat a quote request as permission to send unrelated marketing emails.
We may also retain records where necessary to meet legal obligations, such as applicable accounting requirements, and to handle reasonable questions or disputes about services supplied.
Who receives it
Our website and quote form are hosted by Netlify. We use an email provider to receive and respond to enquiries. We share relevant booking information with people involved in arranging or delivering your cleaning service when needed. We do not sell your enquiry details.
Some pages load fonts from Google and images from Unsplash. Those services receive technical connection information, such as your IP address, when your browser requests those resources. See Google's privacy policy and Unsplash's privacy policy.
If you accept optional advertising cookies, Google may receive information from the Google Ads tag so we can measure visits and whether someone reaches the quote thank-you page. Read Google's privacy policy for more about its processing. This measurement does not send the text you type into the quote form to Google through the tag described here.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information while we deal with your request and for as long as reasonably needed to follow up on it or resolve questions about it. If you book a service, we retain the records needed to manage the service and meet applicable accounting and legal requirements. You can ask us about the period that applies to a particular record.
Cookies and your choice
Our site remembers your advertising-cookie choice in your browser's local storage so it can respect your preference on later visits. The choice expires after six months, or sooner if you clear site data. This preference storage does not run Google Ads measurement.
With your permission, we load the Google Ads tag (AW-18470464211) to measure website activity and quote requests. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers for this purpose. You can choose Accept or Reject in our banner. Rejecting leaves this optional tag unloaded. Use the Cookie settings control on the website to change your choice later. No Google Ads measurement is intended to run before you accept.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or correct your personal information. Depending on the circumstances, you may also ask us to erase it, restrict its use, object to its use, or provide it in a portable form. You can withdraw optional cookie consent using Cookie settings. Write to info@theelitecleaningco.com to make a request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes
We will update this notice if the website's use of information or cookies changes.
